moneta joins Utah's top tech event: Silicon Slopes Summit 2025

Silicon Slopes Summit is Utah's flagship tech event, held annually in Salt Lake City. The 2025 edition ran January 16–17 at the Salt Palace Convention Center and brought together founders, operators, investors, and policymakers from across the Mountain West and beyond.

moneta exhibited in Startup Alley — the section of the floor dedicated to early-stage companies — alongside a strong cohort of Utah-based startups working on infrastructure, AI, and finance.

moneta is headquartered in Salt Lake City, and Silicon Slopes is our home community. The summit is the one event each year where most of our customers, partners, and prospects are physically in the same building.

For an early-stage company, a forty-eight-hour window of dense in-person conversations is more valuable than any other form of outreach. We use the time to demo the platform, talk to finance leaders about what they're actually struggling with, and listen to what our customers want next.

Our co-founders led the booth: Shan Edwards (Co-Founder and CEO) and Jordan Walker (Co-Founder and Head of Sales). The pitch was simple: cloud spend is one of the largest variable costs at most growth-stage companies, and the existing tools were built for engineers, not for finance teams. moneta closes that gap.
