About the role
The cloud reseller billing space is full of jargon, half-truths, and rehashed FinOps talking points. moneta's positioning is different on purpose: practitioner-first, calm, numeric, and specific. We win when our story is the clearest one in the room.
You'll own positioning and messaging across the platform, drive product launches end-to-end, and equip sales with the narratives that close deals. You'll work closely with our customers — the actual humans doing reseller billing — to make sure our story matches their reality.
What you'll do
- Own positioning, messaging, and the sales narrative for moneta — globally and per audience (resellers, MSPs, direct customers).
- Run launches end-to-end: brief, narrative, page, blog, customer comms, sales enablement, analyst briefings.
- Conduct customer interviews and synthesize what you hear into messaging that resonates and copy that converts.
- Build the competitive intelligence library and keep sales current on positioning vs. CloudHealth, Cloudability, Vantage, CloudZero, Finout, and channel-side tooling.
- Partner with growth marketing on demand generation campaigns and with content on the editorial calendar.
- Set up and run win/loss interviews. Feed insights back into the roadmap and the narrative.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years in product marketing at B2B SaaS, ideally in cloud cost, FinOps, billing, fintech, or developer-tooling.
- You can write. Sentences are short, claims are numeric, no paragraph ends without saying something useful.
- Comfortable owning a launch end-to-end — calendar, cross-functional coordination, narrative, page, analyst.
- Curiosity about how money moves through cloud resale. You're the person who reads CUR documentation for fun (or at least without complaint).
- Strong opinions, loosely held. You'll disagree with sales, design, and engineering at least weekly.
Bonus points
- Cloud / FinOps domain experience.
- Experience marketing into channel partners or resellers.
- Side-project portfolio that proves you write.
